We love creating custom signs, it's actually what we enjoy doing best! Creating something new and challenging ourselves is pretty darn fun. Since we've been having 'so much fun' over the years we've learned a few tricks of the trade along the way that we want to share with you to help you make decisions when it comes to designing the perfect sign to suit your needs.
Turns out, size does matter!
So you know where you want to put your sign, but how do you know what size you need? Let's say you're thinking about getting a sign for the bottom of your cottage's driveway or you need a plaque to attach to the side of your house, or you're looking for a sign to display on a bunkie and/or a directional sign... Whatever it is, where you'd like the sign to end up will play a huge part on what size you'll require so that it stands out and accommodate your desires. Our goal is to simplify the process for you so that not only will you love how it looks but it'll be functional for your space too.

Materials, and why it's important to tell us where the sign will be installed
We've encountered on a few occasions a customer ordering a custom sports logo for their partner for example, to surprise them last minute *by the way, how super sweet and what a great gift idea this is!*
Because we love our customers and never wish to disappoint anyone, we will do everything in our power to accommodate your needs. However in these rush scenarios we can miss some steps that we normally wouldn't, in order to save time (never a good thing to do!)
In these instances the questions come a little too late, like when it's time to pick up your gorgeous sign, that's usually when the loaded questions come.... "I can hang this outside, right?" ....
If only you can feel our hearts drop....It's no ones fault, we totally failed to ask in all our excitement to rush the job and customer forgot to confirm this with us. We get it, it's not always top of mind at the time of ordering.
In saying all this....We do need to know if these signs will be placed outside so we can use the appropriate materials. A lot of the time, (mostly for nursery rounds or sports logos) we use materials that are NOT going to survive our winters. So it is very important to confirm whether or not your sign will be hanging inside or outside and we will do our best to weatherproof. It's important to note that although we will use materials that are strong enough to withstand the elements, we cannot guarantee the longevity of the sign if it'll be outdoors through the four seasons. We do recommend that customers place there signs under at least a partial awning or shelter as a best practice. Don't be surprised if it costs a little more either as we all are aware that the cost of lumber has gone up! *tear*
